Every time I travel, I think about how blessed I am to be able to do so. Travelling requires good health, as well as time and finances that allows for it. It is truly a blessing to be able to travel the world as you choose and to have experiences that you’ve previously been dreaming about.
Over the holidays, I was in Florida, which is probably where I’ve spent most of my family vacations when I was a kid. My first time at Disney World was when I was five years old. Since then, I have been lucky enough to return many times. Visiting Florida (especially Orlando) feels like re-visiting some of the happiest parts of my childhood. I guess that is also why I was so moved by my recent visit to Disney World, and their Happily Ever After fireworks show.
Disney has always been good at doing things ten times better than any other theme park and they have had many firework shows over the years. As technology has advanced, they have continuously upped their ways to bring fireworks, music and lighting together. Although I’m no longer in my peak Disney age, I was in complete awe of how stunning and moving their Happily Ever After Firework show is. My twenty minutes of watching it (and trying to capture it) still lingers with me, and I keep re-watching it on Youtube.
If I were to re-experience one moment from my recent trip, it would be the fireworks show at Disney World. It is unlike anything else. I would teleport myself there every night if I could. Below, you’ll find the best video I’ve found of it on Youtube. It doesn’t do the show justice, but it’s as close as it gets. Unfortunately you won’t see all of the fireworks in the video. You’d need a pretty wide angle camera lens to capture the full size of these ones.
Disney World is full of magic and this is just one of the many parts of it that is available for you to enjoy during your visit. Have you visited any of the Disney Parks around the world? What was your favourite memory from it? Please let me know in the comments.
Hi and welcome to my travel guide! My name is Beatrice. I’m a lawyer in my twenties living in Stockholm, Sweden. I started Foodie on Vacay because I travel quite a bit, and my trips are always centered around having great food experiences.
