Review: Brunch at Griffins’ Steakhouse
For a while now, people around me have recommended the restaurant Griffin’s Steakhouse in Stockholm. When the IG account @brunchklubbensthlm (which by the way is one of my favourite accounts for food in Stockholm) went there, and wrote a positive review of it, I booked a table for their Saturday Brunch right away.

The Food
The brunch buffet is centered around classic steakhouse food such as various types of meat, fish, sauces, french fries, potatoes and grilled vegetables. It also includes fabulous dessert table. Everything is of great quality, especially for being a buffet. I was happy with the quality of every item that I tried here, but there are some small things that could be improved. I will share these below.
Great selection of meat dishes and sauces.I especially appreciated the unlimited truffle mayo. At the far end of this, there was Mac N cheese available, I did, however find it too plain and not cheesy enough. 
Unlimited fries and a beef tartar combination.
Overall, great brunch and great food. There are room for small improvements, but overall it is one of the best buffet -style brunches I have been to in Stockholm.
THE VENUE
This place is located right by the Stockholm Central Station. It is easy to find and easy to get here. The prices are slightly above the average brunch, but the quality matches up pretty well with what you pay for.
The locale is much bigger than I expected, it is very expansive and modern with a dark interior design and large windows overlooking the water and the Stockholm City Hall (but there is quite the highway in the way). The venue is much bigger than I thought, and the sizes of everything such as chairs, tables and space is far more American-style than Swedish. Needless to say, you will sit comfortably, you won’t be bothered by other people, and you will have plenty of space.
The buffet did, however get quite crowded. The lines got so long that I went for the dessert table (which was empty) before the table with warm dishes. A bit inconvenient, but the lines didn’t seem to shrink.You can definitely tell that this place is popular, and judging by the lines at the buffet, maybe a bit too popular. However, since the rest of the restaurant was so spacious, and our table was quite private, it didn’t bother me too much.
The personnel and the waiters were quick (sometimes a bit too quick with taking our plates) and efficient. They didn’t forget about us during the visit, and they accommodated any request right away. They did their best to make sure that we had a great time at the steakhouse.
FINAL RATING
This was one of the best brunches I’ve visited in a long time. Despite a few minor flaws, my impression was really good. For me, the most important part is a good food and a wide, high-quality dessert selection, and this place definitely lived up to that. I would come back to this restaurant, especially for dinner as I’ve heard great things about it. Overall, I had a great time and I’ll give it five out of five stars.
