Describing itself as a fusion of Mexican, Japanese, Peruvian and Korean food, YucLatAsian is sure to give you an out of the ordinary experience.
Located in the middle of the city center in Stockholm, this is a very convenient spot for a lunch break or dinner in the city. The interior is dark and coloured in blue, pink and purple with a tropical vibe. The staff took good care of us and gave us a table despite the fact that it was originally full for the night. We got our food pretty fast. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted even better than they looked.
The menu offers a wide choice of food and drinks, which you will not find in many other places in town. The items are fresh, fun and beautifully presented. We started off with a cocktail and proceeded to order a few food items to share.
I really enjoyed all the items we ordered. I encourage you to be brave and just go ahead and choose a few items at random if you are having trouble deciding. The portion sizes were good as well, but I recommend ordering 2-3 dishes each, which can make the visit a bit more expensive than you initially would think.
As always in Stockholm, reservations are highly recommended. I took a spontaneous visit on a Saturday, and the restaurant was full. The only reason we got a table, was due to another same-day cancellation. The table we got was a bit crammed between two others. Therefore, I highly recommend you to book ahead and describe what kind of table you’d prefer. Other than that, we had an unexpectedly good experience. My expectations were a bit low on this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. They put great effort into their food and drinks, and you get to try something that is pretty unique for being in Stockholm. I can definitely see myself coming back.
Hi and welcome to my travel guide! My name is Beatrice. I’m a lawyer in my twenties living in Stockholm, Sweden. I started Foodie on Vacay because I travel quite a bit, and my trips are always centered around having great food experiences.
